Bif. harrisoniae

Bif. harrisoniae

Bifrenaria harrisoniae

We have really made an effort lately to acquire more species orchids and this is one everyone should have.  The petals and sepals are ivory white and very thick and fleshy.  The maroon lip is very pretty and is covered with silky hairs.  Best of all, it is extremely fragrant.  Flowered here March 2004.
