Aeranthes Grandiose 'Shooting Star' AM/AOS
This is the only Aeranthes in our collection but we will definitely be looking for others. These neat flowers open successively on very long peduncles hanging well below the plant. Notice the alternating bracts where previous flowers emerged and the next is beginning to form. Each flowers lasts about 3 weeks, with another directly afterward. This plant had been in flower for over 4 months when this picture was taken. Flowered here July 2004.
